Gianni Gamondi
Gianni Gamondi, born in Alessandria, studies architecture at Milan Polytechnic under Gio Ponti and Ernesto N. Rogers. He graduates in 1966, opens an architecture studio in Milan and immediately starts working in Costa Smeralda, where he sets a branch studio.
A tireless traveller, he specializes in the elite tourism field, creating villas, villages, hotels, resorts and golf courses all over the world, mostly set in far-off, exotic locations, such as the Caribbean, Bermuda, Australia and Hawaii. His most important projects include the villages of Porto Rotondo, Porto San Paolo, Coda Cavallo and Puntaldia in Sardinia, the Krizia K-Club in Barbuda, the Emerald Cove Resort in Antigua, and numberless private homes for celebrities in the Italian and international jet set.
His work embraces prestigious renovation projects in civil and urban settings in London, France and Italy, and impressive landscape architecture.
He keeps creating his personal and exclusive projects in the most beautiful locations, expressing his skill to “read” the landscape and interact in total respect with the environment.
The spirit of his team is that of a “big family ”, very personal and selected, with a close-knit staff, which well reflect Gamondi’s professional identity: capable, reserved, and passionate.
